Differences between the 1st and 2nd edition

For those of you who have a copy and what not, does anyone know what the differences are in terms of
1) components (i know they changed the cards and the size of the board)
2) the rules (what it is now vs. what it was on the 1st ed.)
Trying to make a decision whether I should buy this and retire my 1st ed.
