I was just wondering if anyone had a good source for pictures of the minis that are included in this game?

You should try boardgamegeek. It has quite a few pictures and an okay description of the game, and a lot of other games too.

i must have an old copy as mine doesnt have any minis whatsoever, just cardboard punch-outs

Yeah, the minis come in a newer edition of the game. Does anyone know if they changed any rules with the minis version or is it still the same game?
