You could try VASSAL. I think it's got an Arkham Horror plug-in, though I've never tried it myself.

Lovecraft Country Horror: A COMPLETELY FREE "big box" expansion for Arkham Horror, exploring the minor locales of Lovecraft's fiction, including a new board, 16 Investigators plus their corresponding Personal Stories, 4 Ancient Ones plus their corresponding Sinister Plots, 10 Generic Plots, 16 Skills, 32 Common Items, 24 Unique Items, 10 Spells, 10 Cults, Guardians, Heralds & Institutions, 16 Music of Erich Zann cards, 76 Leads, 4 Allies, 32 Monsters, a selection of Miscellaneous Cards, 24 New Injuries / Madnesses, 84 Tokens, 54 Mythos Cards, 41 Outer World Encounters & 52 Location Encounters

FFG will never make a exact videogame replica of Arkham Horror, not while it can still make loads of money off expansions, custom dice and figurines. I suspect they made Elder Sign into a videogame because it's hard to justify expansions to a dice rolling game.

Not so sure about this, but for sure the Elder Signs: Omens is kinda different from ES: the boardgame. The base game was really too easy to win, plus it was a little repetitive (for me, as well). It grants you half an hour of fun, for sure, but it could have been much more interesting. Anyway, Launius said two expansions for the boardgame were "under development", let's see what FFG will do with these

I've done it, but the set-up time on VASSAL is almost as long as the set-up time for the cardboard game.

They could re-sell all of the expansions we currently own in digital form for even more money. I can see myself paying upwards of $100-$150 for a digital version of Arkham with all of the expansions if it was well done. Throw it on Steam, and you might even get a bunch of new people interested in Arkham, and some of those people might buy the board game. I don't think they could go wrong, honestly.

I would welcome big box expanisons of boards that were set on other worlds.  There is enough about the Dreamlands to make this the first one.  Hell, they can make them coexist as each player moves his Arkham Board  ( cause he is awake) then his Dreamland board ( for when he is asleep).

(Look- a familiar face!)

The incredible "Arkham Nightmares" fan expansion works that way- you travel thru the Dreamlands board till you "wake up" (unless you're on The Moon)….

It's really worth all the printing, cutting, and gluing. Been planning for some time to post an in-depth review over at BGG- I cannot praise it highly enough. I really think these fan-made expansions are the future of Arkham Horror, especially since FFG seems to consider their saga to be complete with "Miskatonic". After all, the "Vermont Horror" fan-exp has gone "legit" with its very own BGG page- that qualifies it as canon in my book.

An aside: has anyone got a copy of "To the Barricades!" or any of the scenarios from Arkham Nights 2011 or 12 (particularly interested in the Barricades one).

thanks

I just realized that nothing is to be expected for Arkham. Except for a "living Arkham" in a few weeks.

I think that what the Mayas saw as the end of the world is in fact a succesfull attack of Chtulhu against our world….

Quick question that's pseudo on topic. (I would have started a new thread, but for some reason I can't start one - FFG take note and please get some decent forum software!)

The new book. Is it coming with a new ally? I seem to recall reading something like that, but I'm not sure.

The 2nd books in both the Dark Waters and the Lord of Nightmares trilogies have mail-ins for new adventure cards for Elder Sign.

"Ashcan" Pete will take that off your hands when you're done with it.
Charlie Kane would befriend a strangled cat if given the chance.
Finn Edwards has very deep pockets.
Hank Samson does not care that you've mastered time travel.
Lily Chen can punch a hue.
Lola Hayes is the world's best Egyptologist.
Mark Harrigan is very good at hedge mazes.
Michael McGlen has never experienced an earthquake.
Minh Thi Phan makes group hugs empowering.
Patrice Hathaway plays songs you can't get out of your head.
Tommy Muldoon is most qualified to be deputy, yet for some reason nobody want him to be.
Tony Morgan sells meat out of the back of his van.
Ursula Downs can shop at an empty store.
Wendy Adams always wins at hide and seek.
William Yorick has a Bachelor's in Cryptozoology—no wonder he can't find work.
Wilson Richards will paint over anything for a dollar.
Zoey Samaras can torch a fire vampire.
