Hi there!
Assuming you want to play with unrevealed, facedown gates full of abominable surprise, how do you handle moving gates?
Is it possible at all without a separate player as a "game master"?
I doubt, therefor I am.

Not really. I personally abandoned hidden gates long ago, specifically, when Dunwich was released.
Alternately, you could continue playing facedown gates, noting that a gate doesn't inherit its properties until it's revealed. It won't be a moving gate until an investigator enter it, and then it might move (thus becoming non-sealable) before the investigator returns.
"Ashcan" Pete will take that off your hands when you're done with it.
Charlie Kane would befriend a strangled cat if given the chance.
Finn Edwards has very deep pockets.
Hank Samson does not care that you've mastered time travel.
Lily Chen can punch a hue.
Lola Hayes is the world's best Egyptologist.
Mark Harrigan is very good at hedge mazes.
Michael McGlen has never experienced an earthquake.
Minh Thi Phan makes group hugs empowering.
Patrice Hathaway plays songs you can't get out of your head.
Tommy Muldoon is most qualified to be deputy, yet for some reason nobody want him to be.
Tony Morgan sells meat out of the back of his van.
Ursula Downs can shop at an empty store.
Wendy Adams always wins at hide and seek.
William Yorick has a Bachelor's in Cryptozoology—no wonder he can't find work.
Wilson Richards will paint over anything for a dollar.
Zoey Samaras can torch a fire vampire.
That is what I do. The investigator destablises it when he passes through it, I figure.
I 'm scary. Really scary.

What do you do with devouring gates and the ones that add doom tokens (the name just fell out of my mind)?

Yeah, I thought that with the Lurker gates it would be impossible to play them "face-down".

The gate's ability on triggers if it opens on an investigator and since when a gate opens on an investigator they immediately go through it there's no issue. The only problem you run into with playing LatT gates face down is the movers don't move until they're flipped over.
A bottle of Chimay Cinq Cents: $12
Appropriate glassware: $5
Being able to enjoy a sublime Belgian while the family is asleep: Priceless

Of course. How could I miss that?
