Here's what it looks like when you use forum code and :

Bold? <b>html version</b>

Italics <i>html version</i>

Underline <u>html version</u>

[s]Strikethrough[/s]
This is a quote

This is an attributed quote
Certainly makes it more difficult to compose offline in your own word processor and then upload. That will make maintenance of card lists and such pretty difficult by the old methods.

On the plus side: You can now copy/paste things from word processors that are already in bold or italics or whatever, and it carries.

Larger words can be done.

I keep clicking on people's names to get to the last message and getting their profiles. duh.

Does anyone also have some other language on certain buttons (like going to the last message?)

I do worry that the board was scrapped after my 500th message. Maybe they decided that was as good as it could get :)

New site is awesome, I hope old forums will be translated into new shell. BTW, We played today LEague Scenario #3 :Feeding Time" and were smacked by Tragothua's tongue. Despite this once again we reflected, that Arkham horro is awesome game :)

I am also digging the little flash intro for the games. I never envisioned selling them like a movie or video game, but then again that might be why I am not on the marketing team now isn't it?

And they're doing it right!

a) Don't use a flash intro as the ONLY thing on the page.

b) Use a new technology when your viewers have the means to view it.

Oh, wait. There's no way to turn the sound off within the flash-vert. Eh, 2 out of 3 ain't bad... (:

I am both annoyed and excited about the new site

I think i will judge the site when its gotten a bit older

Ha-ha!

AngelusNoir, the oft-unseen, is late to the party!

Also, I am now a vacuous squid of some kind.

Alright, so I've five minutes to destroy the world.

Heya all,

I think this new forum looks much better...
To bad we can't have a custom avatar though, becouse I recognised everyone through there avatar mostly

Oh, well i will just have to learn to read

Well, I'm decidedly not happy about the move. I hate flash animations with a passion.

And apart from the new shiny look I see only disadvantages.

What's wrong with a lean, functional interface? This board is currently missing pretty much everything I've come to expect from a board.

Granted, the old one didn't have all of the features I'd like it to have but this one is just plain terrible.

Hmm... I *think* Firefox with the NoScript add-on will allow you to turn off flash on pages by default.

Don't get me started.  I've been here since the Beginning.  On the ANCIENT boards (before the "old" boards we just left), I was maybe a couple of names below the Great Millmaster himself on the post-number list.  Then everything changed, and I found myself with much less to say.

I'm gonna look like a newbie here for a long long time.

Actress – Archaeologist – Astronomer – Athlete – Author – Bootlegger – Bounty Hunter – Chef – Dilettante – Doctor – Dreamer – Drifter – Entertainer – Ex-Convict – Expedition Leader – Explorer – Farmhand – Fed – Gangster – Gravedigger – Handyman – Lawyer – Librarian – Magician – Martial Artist – Musician – Nun – Photographer – Politician – Private Eye – Professor – Psychic – Psychologist – Redeemed Cultist – Reporter – Researcher – Rookie Cop – Sailor – Salesman – Scientist – Secretary – Shaman – Soldier – Spy – Student – Urchin – Violinist – Waitress

I remember the ancient boards.  They did not allow spaces in your user name, so I originally had an underscore in my name.  When they moved to the old forums, the underscore became a space; only it took me forever to figure that out (d'uh).  I just assumed that mine was another one of the accounts the was lost in the move.  When I did finally resolve my login issue, and start posting again, the old forums suddenly disappeared.  I guess because I only lurked on the old forums so long I did not have as much invested in them.  I am kind of looking forward to the new raffle thing; but my points seem to have capped out at 30.  Aren't your points supposed to increase with every post?  Mine don't.  I think I am broken, again.

If you bookmark directly to the AH board, you skip the flash opening on the main page.

Otherwise I think I'd go mad and start eating people. And meeping.

Yep, that's what I've done, too. I'm really glad this works, otherwise I'd just stop visiting the board.

I'm not sure if Firefox+noscript will work properly. On a different board I regularly visit, it will get rid of flash-advertisements but also disables all of the nifty board features that rely on scripts. Maybe there are some settings that allow you to fine-tune that? I'll have to test this, when I'm at my other pc...
