Hello Again!
Published on 22 November 2008 - 12:02:01

That was a bit weird this morning when I logged on, finding all this newness.

Guess people get a chance to change their names - but not me! I'm glad I hit 500 posts on the other boards before this came up.

Can I get a shout out from all other migrators?

Hi Tamsyn,

Glad you found your way to the new forum. I'm sure the regulars will make their way over here soon enough.

I've been having some fun exploring the new site with all it's crunchy goodness.

Cheers

Hola. I don't mind the change, only had a couple of posts anyways.

I guess we do, but so far I think the site is pretty unattractive and unmanuverable.

Tamsyn, I'll miss your old avatar and your old quote.  One day you commemorate your 500th post, the next day the forum is brought down.  Kind of a shame.  Maybe a little too coincidental?!  Anyway, it is good to see you and so many others posting here.

Everything is going to burn.  We'll all take turns. I'll get mine, too.

I feel your pain.  I just hit the 1,000 mark.  Better get started on this one.  Start asking rule questions people!

Geki… what else?

Well just console yourself with all the points you will earn on the next 500 posts you make...am I right, eh?

I am also digging the little flash intro for the games. I never envisioned selling them like a movie or video game, but then again that might be why I am not on the marketing team now isn't it?

It seems that everything one does to earn a livelihood, to subsist,to enjoy life turns out to be illegal, immoral, fattening,- most disturbingly - carcinogenic

Sadly, this is the case.

Hello tamsyn! Hello all.

The new site is pretty, but not entirely practical. I have to turn off the speakers when I go to the Arkham section. The forum message editor is like a word processor...does forum code even work? I rather enjoy controlling my bolds and italics with square brackets.

Note the sheer space occupied by even the smallest post contributions. Scrolling down a few entries is like waiting for an elevator to descend.

I'm sure that the site will get more user-friendly after its initial weeks, but as it stands I'm still experiencing adjustment issues.

"Ashcan" Pete will take that off your hands when you're done with it.
Charlie Kane would befriend a strangled cat if given the chance.
Finn Edwards has very deep pockets.
Hank Samson does not care that you've mastered time travel.
Lily Chen can punch a hue.
Lola Hayes is the world's best Egyptologist.
Mark Harrigan is very good at hedge mazes.
Michael McGlen has never experienced an earthquake.
Minh Thi Phan makes group hugs empowering.
Patrice Hathaway plays songs you can't get out of your head.
Tommy Muldoon is most qualified to be deputy, yet for some reason nobody want him to be.
Tony Morgan sells meat out of the back of his van.
Ursula Downs can shop at an empty store.
Wendy Adams always wins at hide and seek.
William Yorick has a Bachelor's in Cryptozoology—no wonder he can't find work.
Wilson Richards will paint over anything for a dollar.
Zoey Samaras can torch a fire vampire.
