Hi all

I am as many others these times unemployed, so I have used some of my time sculping. I am planning to resculp all the Talisman miniatures.

This is my first full sculpted miniature. I hope you like it - all comments are wellcome.

Cheers

Wow, jeez, wow, OMG, wow, goodness me... etc!!

That is some very nice work! Tell us more about it!

He looks just like a seasoned veteran of many Talisman games!

In fact, if you fancy writing an article about the process (assuming you have some WIP shots) then I think it would be a great thing to share on the forums/Talisman Island...

I'd love to see a larger pic of the detail too...

And also a picture of the process of the dwarf. But now I have to get my kids home.

Definitely amazing looking work!

Thank goodness the Warrior got a face lift because the one that comes with the game just looks constipated.

Favorite Talisman memory: playing 2e Necromancer with the Poltergeist and the poor Prophetess landing on the square next to me.

Nudey dwarf!!

Have you had any figures made from that Warrior or is that the green painted up? It would have been nice to get a copy of that before it was painted!

Man, that Warrior looks PISSED off !

"You want my Talisman? Come and take it!"

A dirty mind is its own reward.

Wow, that is completely awesome! And it's a definite upgrade too as the Warrior has always been one of my least favorite miniatures due to the unnatural pose he is in.

Great job!

It is the green painted up. I do not know how to make copy of the  minis It would be nice to know a good way to do it.

Very impressive.

I think the plastic figure that comes with the Talisman to begin with is ugly.

(Still can't sort this darn quote thing properly!)

There are plenty of places that can make metal or resin copies of your greens. There is actually a place quite near me that can do it.

I have been in touch with them before, but you might also find a happy amateur who is a Talisman fan that might be willing to help you out!

I do not know much about the process but I guess that paint would interfere with it. Also I would not know how green stuff would hold up to paint stripper...

Of course, they would have to be done as "Generic Fantasy Figures", because of copyright etc, but I am sure they could be used for more than just Talisman. I'd love a set, especially as I can appreciate the effort that goes into this sort of thing. I am supremely impessed!

I will be considering this. Also I am afraid of copyright if I begin to  share these minis I will hold on painting the next minis I make and just show them as greens until I find out what to do.

If it is not posible to paintstrip the warrior I will just have to make a new one. Since the warrior is my first sculped mini, the next probaly wil be better.

And by the way sorry for my bad english
