Version question

This is probably a dumb question, but I have a copy of Tannhauser that I've been trying to get people to play. How do I tell if I need to grab the revised rules for what I have?

Do you have a 90 page rulebook?

If not you need one.

They are only avaiable as a PDF download for $5 USD, you can find out where in the FFG shop.

I don't always play board-games, but when I do I play Tannhauser.

Keep gaming my friend.

Thanks, I'll check when I get home!

I did not, the one I had is just more than half that. Glad I asked.

Just to be clear in case anyone else is wondering the Revised Rules are 88 pages, and say Revised Rules of Play on the front.

The original rules were 48 pages.

I don't always play board-games, but when I do I play Tannhauser.

Revised rules include several expansions, for example Novgorod.

Orinal rules only fit with the basic box.

Dear FFG, please don't stop the Tannhäuser line completely! Maybe just step down the release of new product to two (maybe one) characters per year just to keep players interested. Maybe release mercenary characters that would be useful for every faction thus every player. Maybe release a pack containing all the existing bonus tokens but no miniature. Anything, please!
