So is she seems to be really powerful, using that whip sure does hurt. Not been playin glong but i always take her moving into whip range and rolling tens seems to really batter the target!

While the whip is powerful and Eva is a cool character, she is also quite fragile and easily gunned down by the Union characters - sometimes even before she can enter close combat. Although I like her, I have only seldom used her since I aquired Hoss Harbinger. I normally use the Reich heroes for out-of-path attacks and the great Stosstruppen for melee.

Dear FFG, please don't stop the Tannhäuser line completely! Maybe just step down the release of new product to two (maybe one) characters per year just to keep players interested. Maybe release mercenary characters that would be useful for every faction thus every player. Maybe release a pack containing all the existing bonus tokens but no miniature. Anything, please!

aye she is weak. I have not long been playing and have had some good rolls while whipping people, once it starts cracking people die real quick.

I think on my last 10 games i've played when i deployed her, i've averaged between 1-2 attacks with nat 10s on them…devestating - if you can pull it off as Miah said.

btw - if you play against Asteros, Eva is unique in being one of the few characters that can reduce his Schock Roll dice by (bull)-whipping him with a 10. While of course this is extremely risky with her (since she'll likely be toast if she doesnt kill him), Stamina Ozo could make good use of the Strafe

A Dwarf & a High Elf walk into a bar. They start talking to the bartender about their lousy days at work. Next thing they know, 2 large men come over, pick up the Dwarf and throw him out. "What was that for?!" said the Elf. To which the bartender replied, "We don't serve miners here"

She is very good to kill tough guys, I like to give her the "Elizabeth bathory" token and the combat pack. Also good combo if you are running with Hoss with command pack as her chances to kill in one shot are really big, think about tackling Zorka pumped up for stamina (stamina pack and irina stamina pack) thats 5 dice and sucess on 2+ nothing short of a good roll with her whip plus reichdoktor is going to take her down…

Also if she is hurt its easy to prey on a trooper to get back to full health…

It's in the Hoss Expansion Pack.

I don't always play board-games, but when I do I play Tannhauser.

Keep gaming my friend.

It can be found also in the equipment cards expansion pack (you dont need the token itself if you play with the cards instead of the tokens)

If you actually get the Hoss pack, there's a nice combo for Hoss and Eva. Hoss has the Crown of Cerunnos (or so) that grants him the ability to give some of his attack roll results to another character on his path. So if he does an out-of-path attack (as he always does) and rolls a Natural 10, he can give the Natural 10 to Eva who can rush into melee on her activation and attack someone with a guaranted Natural 10. Add Heizinger with his Combat pack so everyone rolls one additional die, thus increasing the chance of Natural 10s. Furthermore, add a Shocktruppen with Command pack (or Combat pack) to do overwatch attacks against every enemy that enters your path to attack Hoss, Eva or Heizinger. To cope with Eva's weakness, use her Stamina pack that includes a First Aid Kit.

If you only have the Core game and thus are playing against the Union you should use your out-of-path abilities and do whatever it takes to keep your opponent off your path. Heizinger with his Command pack makes it very difficult for Union characters to enter his path while he can easily use his Patmos amulet on them while staying out-of-path. Zerman with his Command pack should stay him rolling 5 dice while attacking out-of-path. A Shocktruppen on overwatch on the same path guns down everyone who actually manages to enter that said path. If you have hurt important Union characters, rush in with Eva and the Stosstruppen to finish those opponents off in melee. But don't use them too early, or they will be gunned down too fast, especially Eva.

I'd say this tactic should work out fine against the standard Union team, just beware of grenades and smoke grenades that are thrown your way. If you actually get Hoss and replace Eva with him, you'll have yet another character with a powerful out-of-path attack and a Union player will have a very hard time winning against you.
