If you want to add some 3D, the nice Kampfgruppen 1/144 have these cardboard models to download for free: kampfgruppe144.com/downloads_All_00.htm

They have for both WW1 and WW2 :D

I don't like using 3-D terrain with this game. When a plane moves over a piece of terrain it cause a bit of trouble. You'll have to move stuff around. Though 3-D clouds are alright.

If you use 3D terrain you just line out the building with something if you need to fly over it. It works very well as long as you don't use too much of it.

I use a thin cloth band, the same as we use for treches on the map. In our game the positions of trenches are sometimes important, like when you strafe or if you crashland.
