Aw, whatever... You can find the links.

PsiComa

First of all, all official expansion "variants" are included.

From the first SA page with general options,

we will use the option c) for race techs:
They are acquired instantly when you have a number of VP equal to their resource
value, but can be researched earlier as a tech. In that case you will get discount
equal your VP level.

I think I will remove Imperium Rex from the deck. I'm no huge fan of that.

As for the General Transfer System aka Simultaneous Action System, that's up to you. I guess there are enough other things to wrap your heads around.

As for the variant options (Extras page), we will use
*Imperium Rising
*Dimension Rifts
*Twilight Council
We will borrow the Star by Star rule that no enemy Home System may be activated first round.

PsiComa

I've added a number to each of the starting locations, and updated Danger Man's first bid. Please indulge yourselves and add your bids to the wiki like this.

It would have been much less of a hassle with actual TG counters, but. This is what we got!

----
Oh, I might have forgot to mention that players basically update all their moves themselves. It's cool if we all help each other out when we got time, though.

PsiComa

Hmm should the bidding be done turn-wise or just free?

haslo

Hm, I must've missed the bidding rules altogether - do we have TGs from the start? Or what do we bid with?

Danger Man

Let's say three people bid 0, 3 and 8. The one with the highest bid starts with 1 TG (the minimum) and the others start with the difference in bid amount. So the starting TGs would be 9, 6 and 1 respectively.

(Last time there was a max bid of 15. I assume that is still the case.)

haslo

Cool, thanks

PsiComa

Yes. You bid with the inverse; How much your OPPONENTS will start with.

When you say you updated Yin's(Dangerman's) bid it that for all to see or is this blind bidding?

With regards to speaker for the first round does it go in bid order or in speaker order?

Bill

PsiComa

That is for all to see. If you take a look at the map you see that Danger Man this far owns the system at a bid of 1 TG.

PsiComa

I haven't made up my mind for Speaker yet. Either I roll random or I'll let you bid for that as well.

I'm wondering, though. Maybe we should do this turn-wise after all, so people aren't sitting on the fences.
Yeah, I think we should. Definitely.

Now Danger Man has bid, and from there we go around the table. That is, move down the list and jump to top.
Next on the list is claytonbi of the Muaat to bid for a Home System. 0 is the minimum bid. So, where do you want to live?

bnorton916

Do the random races players know there race yet? If not I think they should.

Clayton(Muaat) you are up!

Bill

PsiComa

Yes, of course. But YOU don't know what they are. Makes a serious difference on possible starting situations if they are Sol or Mentak

Good, I was hoping you would say that.

Bill

Danger Man

Btw, shouldn't we get our secret objectives before bidding?

PsiComa

Stop asking diffiucult questions!

Yes, maybe we should? In that case I need everybody's wiki-user name right away, and I'll prepare the private pages.

@claytontbi, you're aware it's your turn to bid? (just because you posted )

claytontbi

i was hoping to see my SO before choosing a location, even though i am limited in my choices since i'm banished to the Outer Rim

PsiComa

Hmm.. will it be too much hassle and too much unnecessary stress and thinking to know your SO's in advance? What did we do in RedshiftI? I don't think I remember knowing my SO when bidding for a home?

claytontbi

PsiComa - sent you PM for my choice

Danger Man

I can't really remember what we did for Redshift 1, but I think you knew your secret objectives before bidding. I think it makes the bidding more interesting in any case

Anyway, just let my inital bid stand in any case. I am pretty sure I will be overbid.
