San Diego, CA - LCG Group
Published on 30 January 2013 - 02:41:52

You could use a good kiss!  Or, at least a cool group to play SW with?

Come on down to Game Empire in San Diego for LCG night, Mondays from 6-10pm.  We play AGoT, Netrunner, and SW.

Currently, it's just open play for the next couple of weeks, but we'll be starting a Netrunner league in Feb., with a SW league to follow in March.  More details to come as March gets closer.

As part of LCG Night at Game Empire, we will be running a Star Wars: The Card Game League!

Mar 18th – Apr 29th, 6pm – 10pm Monday Nights

League Rules

  • Each player will be given a score sheet to record their league games.
    • Score Sheets must be turned in at the end of each Monday night session.
  • Each player is allowed to record up to 3 matches per opponent.
  • A match consists of 2 games, one as the Light Side, and one as the Dark Side.
  • Matches will be scored according to the new tournament rules.
  • Players will be ranked based on the number of points they've earned.
  • The first tie breaker will be your strength of schedule (the sum of the points earned by all of your opponents).
  • The second tie breaker will be the sum of your opponent’s strength of schedule.
  • All games must be played on Monday nights at Game Empire, and the last night for league games will be Monday, Apr 22nd.
  • On Apr 29th the top 8 players will be seeded and play in a single elimination tournament with 70 min. rounds (except for the final game) to determine the League Champion!

Deck Building Rules

  • Players may play with a variety of decks throughout the league, but each deck must follow the standard deck building rules found in the rule book, FAQ, and in the LCG Tournament Rules.
  • During the finals players will be allowed to play with only 1 Light Side deck and 1 Dark Side deck.

Sportsmanship

  • Over the course of the league, remember it is your response to winning and losing that makes you a winner or loser. Be fair, honest, an ambassador of the game, and above all: have fun!

  • $5 entry fee (all money will go towards tournament prizes on Apr 29th)

Those who are interested can sign up on Monday nights at Game Empire (just ask for John)

So, here are our stats after 2 weeks of play.

I expect things will pick up after our Netrunner league finishes next week.  Many of us have been splitting time.

Sorry, correct the following uder Affiliations above:

DS-Scum and Villainy should have the following stats: 1-0 (1) [0.526], making it 2nd

LS-Jedi should be 1-3 (0.250) [0.423]

I had to add an extra win for them in order for my spread sheet to calculate everything, and forgot to remove it before posting.  This will get fixed as we play more games.
