Bookkeeping methods?

We've been tracking stats on notecards, but we're messy about it, as we're new to this genre.  How do you all keep track of wounds, Strain, ranks, talents and the like?  I don't want to mess up the beautiful full-color folios.  I suppose photocopying them is one option..

Thanks!  That's a pretty useful site in general, so I appreciate the link.

Poker chips work well.

Pick the most numerous in the set for wounds, second most for strain.

I have to say this is a simple but good ideal, I have hundreds of poker chips from other games and would of never thought of this. So thank you.
