I'm a B&N cardholder with a coupon burning a hole in my pocket. Their website shows nothing about the Beginner game. Their customer service rep said he has no info. Is there any word about when I can make my transaction?

i doubt they will carry the beginer game however when the core book comes out i woud assume it would be there.

The Barnes & Noble stores I've been to always seem to stock a large assortment of FFG products from boardgames to RPGs. I would be disappointed if the beginner game didn't show up there very soon.
