Sunday: Paladin Tech and Games Battle report
Published on 15 October 2012 - 10:28:56

Me and Shadowjack had our first match on Sunday. My X-wing squad consisted of:

  • Luke - R2-F3; Determination
  • Garvin
  • Rookie Pilot
  • Rookie Pilot

Shadow was running

  • Vader
  • Howlrunner
  • Backstabber
  • Mauler Mithel
  • Winged Gundark

I scored some early leads in mitigating his damage potential, but he cae back with a vengance. The game ender was a straight up half a base width duel between Garvin and Vader.  The dice ended in my favor, but all around it was a great game.

Next match I'll try and remember to bring my camera :)

The greatest evil in the world is the Indifference of Good Men.

RPG - Role Play GAME.  Game's are supposed to be fun.  If you're not having fun, then don't play, but please don't ruin mine.

 My List was actually:

Total Squad Points: 100

"Backstabber"
"Howlrunner" w/ Swarm Tactics
"Mauler Mithel" w/ Determination
"Night Beast"
Darth Vader w/ Squad Leader

Remember that I had a few of the ship token pieces wrong at the beginning of the game because I wasn't paying attention to the pilots' names on them.

I don't think running only 5 Imps vs. 4 rebels was such a great idea for me. I want to try out a much more "swarmy" list next time of 6 or 7 ships.
