Quick question that I haven't been able to find in the rules.
Does the runner have the ability to trash a resource or piece of hardware on their turn?
Programs they can trash during an install action.
In the FAQ it's mentioned that you can't trash a console to install a different one which makes me think that maybe you can't?
For resources Wyldside is the one that I feel after a certain point that I want to trash it but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to.
I know you could get around this restriction with Aesop's Pawnshop but I was wondering if you could just do it normally.

No, you cannot. If you play a Wyldside and then decided you don't want it anymore, your options are a) Aesop's Pawnshop or b) get tagged and hope the Corp trashes it for you.
