Moving the legend marker.

A question about movement of the legend marker.
Do you, resolve and card as you get to it?
Resolve the card you on on only at the end of the day ?
Or resolve all cards you have passed at the end of the day ?
The rules seemed to point at resolving at the end off the day , but this means you could pass tasks you need to do to complete legend 1
