Last night I ran Edge of the Empire at UB MiniCon. The mechanics went smoothly. Everyone had the mechanics down within the first hour. It was a creative group who took easily to dictating results of Advantages and Triumps-- even using a Triumph on a Charm check to throw a cadaver into a freezer to bait the Gammorean Guard, and trap him inside.
I respect how the game treats vibroaxes and Gammoreans as tough foes and not level 2 minions. It captured the feel of the universe wonderfully.
