I have a simple question I'm 80% sure I know the answer to, but in order to make this thread more useful perhaps this could be a spot for general clarification questions.
MY question:
Wound & Strain thresholds (p.26) both say "after determining the initial value, increases to a character's (brawn) rating do not increase his (wound) threshold."
Now, does "initial value" mean after I've increased the stat by one or two points using my starting XP, or does it mean just the basic 2 for a human (3 brawn for a wookiee, etc)? I would guess it's the former, else a Human would just have a stright Strain threshold of 12 - but I want to be sure.
Thus do I undo all Gordian Knots!

This got covered in the Week 1 updates, but when they say "after determining initial value," they're referring to when you've finished spending your starting XP.
So you've got it right, in that a starting Human that raised his Willpower to 3 would have a Strain Threshold of 13, while a Wookiee that boosted his Brawn to a 4 would have an 18 Wound Threshold.
