Best part of working for UPS, getting your delivery before the trucks leave the docks- sometimes the night before scheduled delivery if it gets to my building the day before… ok, not really the best part… but i did get my beta this way today and that made my friday/weekend!

Arrived today. Got home from the university and behold! In my mailbox was a paper slip! 5 days before my birthday even, great news!

I'd suggest sending their customer support an e-mail asking about it - it might be that it's been sent, and is in the hands of the postal service, in which case there's nothing much they can do.

I have no idea of what that actually means, or … perhaps an inkling, but I understand from the others that its well done! So: Well done!

I have another year and a half before handing in my masters thesis in sociology.

It might be stuck going through Customs or the like - post between countries is a pain in the arse!

Yes, I suspect it's because of the shortage of trained, package-sniffing beavers we use here in Canada. There's been heavy snowfall here this summer (5-6 feet in most areas), and the beavers' reproduction rates have been low.
