Two simple questions
Published on 22 January 2013 - 20:27:33

Hi guys, first message here and I have two questions that come up when I reread the Warfare Core Rules after playing a couple of games.

1. A model with Fast ability in difficult terrain. Does it move 3" plus an extra 3" from Fast, or only 3" like any other model?

2. What´s the amount of dice rolled on the Vehicle Damage Table?

a- The original hits?

b- The original hits minus Cover bonus?

c- Or the original hits minus Cover AND Armor saves?

Thanks

Cheers!

  1. The way its written says 3" max through difficult terrain with Fast. Unless it makes a March Move in which case the Move will suffer no penalties.
  2. Case B, Damage less cover reductions.

Thank you. It´s what I thought. But the rules for vehicle damage are not specially clear about this, and specially why the armor roll doesn´t affect the roll on the vehicle table.

Think of the damage roll as how hard or directly the shell/attack hits the tank.
The cover reduction as the shell having to pass through something before it hits the tank.
The Armor roll is how well the shell penatrates the armor, a good armor roll could mean the shell bounced off the armor completly.
And the damage table is the attack hitting somthing vital without necessarily damaging the Hull of the tank.
