IMHO they should scrap the STR aptitude and replace it with an aptitude according to the specialisation:
Biomancy -> Defense
Divination -> Fieldcraft
Pyromancy -> Offense
Telekinesis -> Offense
Telepathy -> Leadership / Social
My poor, poor psyker would adore getting Fieldcraft with his Divination.

I think they should also scrap the freepick of powers. what's the point of having ten different offensive powers? you just pick the best. Who in their right mind would pick smite when you can pick spontanious combustion instead?

I personally think they should replace Strength with Defense since combined with Willpower and Psyker gives his cheap access to a whole slew of psychic defenses you would expect him to have.
