Mutations

Can we have the Mutations tables back?

They're great fun for making baddies, and a lot more dangerous than the current nebulous treatment the book gives them. Everyone loves tables and they fit well thematically.

I've converted Dark Heresy to the Only War system. Please take a look!

The reason there is no mutation tables is that there are Commisars.

"Pvt. Warpspawn I see you've grown a tentacle. *Blam* Burn the corpse downwind."

The only place you could conceivably get away with it would be if some hive world in desperation tithed a mutie legion. And they would envy the Penal legions when it came to assignments.

*peers closer* Oh, for bad guys. Sure, I guess. Don't you already have 4 systems worth of tables (and bad guys)? Not really a good reason to leave them out I suppose, although it sounds like they are pressed for space.

Maybe the rules in the beta are just a placeholder? I mean, it's not like they have much incentive to thoroughly test any kind of mutation rules, because after all the previous systems, they have it covered pretty well.
