So whats the real difference here? I read the books but other then how VPs are assigned any real differences slipped my attention.
Emperor, let Your undeniable light burn on the mishappen and twisted, so I can see them with pure sight, and purge them with righteous fire!

All the text that differs between versions are highlighted in blue in both rulebooks.
But basically:
- Victory points are counted differently.
- Movement is slower in the epic version than the premium (you cannot chain movement in neutral territories).
- In premium, the whole map is occupied at the start where in the epic, just a few territories are covered.
