As per the title.

At the non-official A:NR Facebook page, someone posted a mash-up version of Gabriel Santiago's A:NR ID using art from Infiltration. I was really disappointed because his Infiltration portrait was way cooler and sleeker than the goateed art we currently have. 

In addition, his A:NR appearance is not consistent with the Android universe in that regard; it's not just a break from his earlier appearance in that game but also a break with his appearance on Bank Job's art.

Wow. That is awesome. I assume that the reason is that art of that quality is epensive, haha. Plus when you have good cohesive art, it tends to all be by one person. That isn't the case in a card game. You can't go for bang up art like that and then ask the next artist to draw a similarly good card with Gabriel in it. It just couldn't match the quality.

What's weird here is that Gabe's A:NR ID changed from Infiltration's but his original appearance is in Bank Job. Compare that to Mac's ID and Modded, or to Chaos Theory and Big Brother. Lots of quotes in the game are also references to other parts of the Android universe. 

Gabe looks fine, but Noise in Android looks much better than Noise in Android: Netrunner.

Again, why the change? To be fair, at least there are enough similarities and consistencies to simply say that Ji had a makeover. But Gabe really changed…
