First time I've felt motivated to post any decks I've constructed. They are still works in progress but these decks are definitely meant to be played together. Keep in mind these are made with everything up to Road to Rivendell. I have the later AP's and Hobbit box, but I'm playing my way through the scenarios using only cards that came out with those scenarios. 

COUNTER DECK

This deck was designed with one goal in mind: quest like hell using cheap allies with strong willpower and counter the worst nastiness from the encounter deck by canceling shadow effects, treacheries and managing the encounter deck and staging area.

DIRECT DAMAGE DECK

This deck is designed to fight, with an emphasis on direct damage and getting rid of enemies quickly. The Horn of Gondor combined with clever use of the Descendant of Thorondor (Sneak Attack, Born Aloft, etc.) is one of the key combos to both deal damage and generate resources. Steward of Gondor as well can help build up resources for the expensive eagles.
