Hey, I just builded a deck which is quit similar to yours. But instead of steward of Gondor I use the combo of Zigil Miner, Imladris Stargazer and Gleowine. It just work great. One of the big advantages is that you can easily use high cost cards like Gildor Inglorion. I would post my decklist if someone is interested in it :D
Remember that Zigil Miner now has a limitation, it's max 2 resources. On the other hand I never liked too much combos to be fare, I've always thought that not relying on them to win is better if possible. But let me know how it goes!

So far, Maggical's deck works great. The only real issues I have had are when Light of Valinor doesn't come out (even on a mulligan) or when I cannot get card draw (Gleowine is buried).
When i do get the draw, sometimes I struggle with getting cards I really need (Gandalf or Elrond's COUNSEL)…to reduce threat.
I have beat Anduin 3 out of 4 times with this deck but have yet to reach my best point mark (137)…144 is as close as I could get. The best I could do was 12 rounds and 28 threat..
Maggical - if you had to change a card or two, have you considered where the possible change might be?

I have no experience with Imladris…but I like the idea of being able to see 5 cards deep…she may be worth removing a Gleowine or two…personally, I have played a few games with Maggicals deck where I was stuck with 2 Gleowins in my hand that I was just discarding for Eowyn's action…

Oh, by the way, I see that many play two man games. Would anyone be interested in me adding the 2nd deck I run on this kind of games that complements this one really great? Maybe it helps someone that wants to have a "spare" deck to play whenever a friend comes by…
Are you still working on a second deck?

Keep in mind that this deck doesn't try to get best scores at all. The whole idea of the deck is being able to have one deck that can beat all quests and that's really difficult to achieve. Getting best scores will always require adjusting decks from quest to quest which is something I've never liked and the main reason I tried to create this deck…
Currently I don't think there are any cards that I will switch from my list on the first post. Maybe when I get the new expansions some cards will change, but I currently don't have them. If you look at the list of quests I still don't have on the main post there are a few…

Yes, in fact I've had the deck built for a while. I will probably give it a try tomorrow when a friend comes home and after that I think it will be ready to be posted. I just like polishing my decks as much as possible before posting them, so people don't get confused and I know every little part of the deck so I'm able to reply to any questions…

Ok this change on zigil actually fvcked up my hole system :( I probably have to cut the high cost ally now.
A wizard is never late, Frodo Baggins. Nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to.
As I was looking through all the cards, I stopped at Dori and thought that he might be a cool upgrade for this deck. I feel like the deck is having problems with a hugh amount of enemies, and Dori would be an additional fighter with a great response.

Are you talking about revising Maggicals deck or your own? If you are working with your deck it would probably be best to create a new thread we can post in so people are not getting confused. This thread is primarily to discuss Maggical's deck.
I would suggest posting your own thread (similar to this one) with your deck list, and your strategy, etc. and let people comment on it.

Nope, I acctually meant Maggical's deck ![]()

OK. Thanks for clarifying.

I'm not seeing it work correctly to tell you the truth. First of all 3 resources on the Lore sphere are too much for this ally, you need to play Haldir or Minstrell first for sure so you need the resources for them. Also he doesn't really attack that much and neither he defends that much, so I'm not really liking him…
Also, you need to Exhaust him to use his action and that's not really good. If you play him then you want him to attack or block, and that means that you won't be using his action…

Hey Maggical, any chance of seeing that other deck list you use in conjunction with this one when you have 2 player games?

Yes, I'm sorry that I didn't post it earlier. I'll try my best to post it tomorrow since I work from home and may find time…

Updated the first post with the side-kick deck that people have asked me for!
