Samsung Galaxy S I9000: I bought it from android market and try to download but it fail. It claims that I have no free space however I got more thatn 5,5GB free internal memory and more than 4GB on SD card. I tried to do the same here: market.android.com/details and its not working :(
I did post about installing it on Samsung Galaxy S on the main page.
I got it working by upgrading Android OS from 2.2 to 2.3.3 then I while installing got the same error as you. There are more solution for this, the easiest one is to try remove all cache from Android Market application and if it does not help then downgrade Andorid Market application. The other are related to some changes in location of cache files etc. That seemed to be a biot complicated so I simply downgraded and it worked, I was able to install omens after that and am playing it since. The game is really cool and working nicely on Galaxy S.

I'm running it on a Nook Color with the Cyanogen 7 mod (android OS 2.3.7) and it runs great on that. I think the Android tablet platform (whether "hacked" or not) is usually always best for gaming.

I run Cyanogen 7.0.3.1on Android 2.3.3, and I have had nothing but great luck with anything that I have installed.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S (Vibrant) running FroYo (2.2), and the Market App & web site are telling me Elder Sign: Omens is not compatible. I've tried downgrading the Market app as suggested, with no luck. Is there really an incompatibility? Any other ideas? Thanks!

First you need to upgrade Android to 2.3.3. It seems to be not supported by combination of Galaxy S and Android 2.2.

Looks like they posted an update that fixed the download issue. But now it crashes as it tries to load. Baby steps... :)

Samsung Galaxy Tab GT-P1000 with 2.2 Froyo (yea, the OLD stuff)
Game is perfectly fine, not a single problem occured, everything works smooth just like it should be. I'm impressed.
I'm running it on a rooted Nook Color with the stock 1.4.1 OS. it works fine except the tutorial videos wouldn't play until I converted them to a lower resolution.
The game is a little choppy and slow sometimes, but totally playable.
Does the upcoming update to Omens that the fantasy flight front page is touting include compatibility for a wider range of android and ios devices? Maybe sorting that out before implementing in-app purchases would send a better message.
Posting (first time here) to confirm that the game runs ~butter smooth~ on the Asus TF201, lightning fast, no crashes, no glitches. I've not tried it on my ZTE Blade (Cyanogen 7.1) yet, and in all fairness given that has one core which even with overclocking is barely pushing 800mhz, I don't feel like frustration.
Speaking from the perspective of someone who's had some experience with the mess that is Android, I don't honestly think developers should be attempting to cater to every possible device/OS combo - that way lies madness and dragons, and nothing good will ever come from it aside from a vast headache. At some point in the not too dim and distant, I would seriously expect developers to start putting their foot down and demanding everyone is on 2.3, if not 2.3.7 (for mobiles) and ICS for tablets. It's the only way they're going to be able to reliably and profitably develop for the Android platform and tbh people are going to have to accept that if they aren't running "minimum spec" for various titles, they're not going to be able to just run anything without issue.

It is not just about the version, ESO will not run on my mobile device because it is a LGE VM670.
I have harnessed the shadows that stride from world to world to sow death and madness...
It isn't the resolution, it's the codec.
I have a Nook Color running Cyanogenmod (7.1) off the SD card, and all the videos play just fine for me -- after converting them in Handbrake to MPEG-4 (FFmpeg). The resolution is the same as the original, as are the video and audio bitrates. The only change was the codec.
