This is extremely sad and very disheartening for someone who has put so much time and effort into this game over the last 4 years.  It's going to take a while to digest this. 

It's nice that Steve has been so forthcoming with the details of the last couple years of UFS, you can tell that he had a passion for this game, but it still doesn't make it any easier for us to accept. 

I don't know what else to say.

For me this has been the funnest game ive ever played. All of my players love it and we thought that things were starting to get better. The last few sets were spectacular to say the least and I have loved the new artwork. To me this game isnt dead its just taking a break who knows, perhaps after the economy gets better ffg will start making it again. For now me and my playgroup (which grew again) will start making our own format and continue to enjoy UFS.

All I know, OP system can be hosted on a few websites I know. We can rebuild UFSCards.com and start using Pojo (shudder) or Trade Cards Online to keep this going. (Sans promos but still)

TCO's was server hacked. The Database corrupted, and we're trying to unmangle the mess.

Additionally we discovered the problems with the server after it was moved from the old house to the new one, and suffered physical damage during the move.

So we've moved to a new server, but are trying to unmangle the database.

The server host is having some personal issues that are not mine to share.

So I'm sitting here with hands tied, waiting to be able to make the site go live again.

When TCO comes back up... I have no issues with it being dead CCG central and the home for both UFS and Raw Deal.

I think were all in shock. Despite how the forums have been no one expected FFG to throw in the towel. Also retch I think thats a good idea, I will see about contacting you later right now I need a drink, and a strong one at that.

i know a couple of us still dont want this game to die and have already contacted certain people in FFG about this decision i just hope they think about this decision over the hollidays and take back this idea and bring back this game, hell if next year they have to cut down to 3 or 2 sets released per year to keep the game going i'm sure ALL of us would be happy with that, though we need 2 things to happen BADLY, 1)  More advertising and 2) SUPPORT FOR LEGACY heck Brian when you get the site back up and running if you need any help you know where i am i'm willing to help make a banned list or a formats list for Legacy as is everyone here that still CARES for the game.
