Wizard Figurines Question (Gender)
Published on 02 March 2012 - 12:49:47

I have Wiz War in my cart at Noble Knight (got a mess of credit there) as it was on my list to get the minute I heard it was coming...my question is this:  I am looking to get this because it seems like something my kids would love as much as I will...but I have 2 young daughters and I know that they would be more inclined to give it a go if they could play a female wizard...looking at the pics of the player figures I think at least one is female but can someone please confirm?  Thanks...

I think the Wizard floating and sitting indian style is a female, but I don't have my minis handy to check.

Then this game is perfect: there are exactly two male wizards and two female wizards. Among the two females, one is a ninja-looking wizard with a sash around her mouth and long hair; her figurine stance makes her appear as if she were doing a DBZ hand-blast. The other is a levitating and cloaked wizard. In the card pictures these two are easily seen as being females too. There is a Saruman-like wizard, with a long beard, staff, and seer-stone as one of the male wizards. The other, my favorite, is a vizier-looking wizard with a big spell book.

I hope you and your daughters enjoy Wiz-War. It is an easy game to learn, is fast-paced, fun, and has so much replay value.
