Of all the cards, I think Imperial Suppression is the most powerful from this set. The ability to cancel a well timed Return of the Jedi, Rebel Assault, or Jedi Mind Trick, for free no less, locks them out of some resources for a turn. The objective Lord Vader's Command also makes the their tricky events cost one more, making the opponent rely on their events less and the fact that Vader is in the set is icing.

Wampa gets reduced by your Hoth Objectives and your opponents, if you both have a Hoth objective then its free to play. Wampa is super good if you can get it for free.

Quick thoughts:

Fear is a great card for locking powerful Light Side Force characters out of the Force struggle so you don't necessarily have to commit all your big guns in order to keep up.

The Desolation of Hoth is a heck of a reset button.  It basically heals one of your Hoth objectives and can pile all that damage onto an unsuspecting enemy unti.

Succumb to the Cold! requires you have a Hoth objective in play, but for zero cost, it's a nice way to make your opponent waste an action that removes a focus token.

Weapon Mastery makes a character into Yoda-Lite for one turn for free.

Speaking of Yoda, Control seems tailor-made for him, being dependent on the character having two or more enhancements on it.

What the heck does gain edge 1 mean for the fighters and speeders from the rebel pod? They get one point added toward the edge battle?

correct. Before this pack, I believe Mon Mothma was the only one with this text.

The first thing that came to mind when I saw this list is how great that rebel objective set looks. I cannot wait to try it somehow.

The second thing that came to mind is Old Ben's Spirit. I just know there are some wacky targets for this card:

Han Solo, "I don't care if you are haunting me from beyond the grave, old timer. I still think it's nothing but a hokey religion!"

Ben Kenobi: "Oh great, it's my future self AGAIN."

Do any come to mind for you?

I have to say I really like this pack. The jedi pod seems to be getting a little bit of hate, but I really like it. Within my group the biggest complaint has been the vulnerabilty of most of the characters and this pack solves that problem with x2 old ben's spirit and the ability to recur it via the objective itself. And weapon master with yoda and shi cho should be great. I think that this pack shows great promise.

The problem is that its 5 non figure cards. If you want to go x2 with that pod you are really limited what kind of figures you put out. Yes Old Ben and some of the other things help.

Might be good as a x1 pod but dont know about x2.

We will see in time. I think over time the pod will be very strong once we get more pods.

I do like calm since it lets you attack and def if needed. I guess letting guys come back from the dead and getting cards back is pretty good.

Can't wait to buid a troop swarm deck around Navy Vader and Espo Troopers. :)  On the light side… I wonder how viable it would be to throw in ALL the Hoth pods (to reap the benefits of Hoth objective control), then round it out with Luke, Yoda and Ben? (I chose Jedi over Rebel to round it out because the new Jedi pod is pretty worthless on its own.)

You may have missed that the new Jedi pod is not a Hoth objective.

It really just changes the idea… run them with a pure Rebel deck instead of a Jedi deck.
