This all depends on the license. The announcement very specifically mentioned roleplaying, miniature, and card games. Conspicuously absent is any mention of board games. Now that may mean they can do a co-op card game, but it may also preclude it, depending on the terms of the license.

True, it could. But several people have mentioned that during the In Flight Report at Gen Con, FFG was asked about possible other card games and they hinted that they can/may produce more. I wasn't there, so I can't comment on the details of what was said and how it was phrased.

I'm sure it's been mentioned before somewhere that Hasbro still has the licence for board games. The official announcement from August last year mentions specifically they'll be producing card games in the plural though, so…
