Why not have a bunch of extra pilots laying around? Have an Imp and Alliance booster packs for $3 or $5 per pack. Specality pilots for ships could be brought out. I know it may seem like CCG's, but it would give one booster pack a way to play several different pilots and it wouldn't cost that much either.
$5 booster:
One booster pack pilot & ship card
One booster pack pilot upgrade
One booster pack weapon
What do you guys think?

I like many have been making this suggestion in the forums. I think it is a great idea that could fill in the gaps between major expansions. The great thing about this also, the card board could also include extra tokens for shields, focus, etc. There is no reason that a single booster back could not include more than one pilot, maybe even spoiler pilots for ships yet to be released. Hopefully the dev team at Fantasy Flight is looking seriously into this booster pack idea.
I have a bad feeling about this.
