So what if they make some CR-90 corvette size ships? Then we will need some boarding craft. I already see some scenarios using boarding craft to capture the larger ships and to reload bombers. I think this would and a whole new dimension to the game. What are your thoughts or has this ben discussed in another forum?
Two fighters against a star destroyer?!

It will never happen. This is a dogfighting game and capital ships are simply too large to be plausible at this scale. A CR-90 in 1/270 scale would be just about 22 inches long. (a Star Destroyer would be over 19 feet!) At that size it is going to dominate the board and other than being kind of like a set piece or a stationary target for a special mission I don't see them being viable. The game simply isn't designed with that kind of scale in mind

I still think you could do it. Fighters would escort the boarding craft or bomber reloads. This would give a reason to have bombers in the first place and 33.3 cm is not to big in my book. It would be awesome!

Well the Imperials typcially don't use the Corvette so they would need a ship of their own and pretty much anything else from the OT is going to be way to big.
Also boarding craft don't really fit in a dogfighting game. What would they do when attached to the ship?
That said, doesn't mean a cool one off mission using this bad boy wouldn't be fun :D
The fighters would be used to protect or attack the boarding craft depending on what side you’re on. Kind of like capture the flag. Boarding craft could be used to reload bombers and capture or repair ships.

Thgere's already threads here int he forums about using this beast as a "disabled" craft, with rebels trying to pretect it for X number of turns while awaiting a relief vessel. And the Kenner toy (which I'm pretty sur ethe above image is) is really close in scale too…
"look at the size of that thing!"
The LEGO set is 20 inches long, which is really close in scale. Here is a pic i took after i made a base:

Now I'll have to dig up some stats and scenarios that others have made for it.

I have that lego too, but its been in storage for years. Now you just gave me an excuse to build it and I probably need to make a base like that too. Just wondering if the stats would be too op. I was thinking like 20 shields and 30 hull with 1 agility and 6 weapons damage. It would be stationary but able to pivot at 45 degrees. And of course there would be respawns for the imperials set to any limit or unlimited. While the rebels win by effectively destroying all imperial boarding craft. The imperials win if the boarding craft attaches for 2-3 turns without being destroyed. I think the pilot skill of the Corvette should be upward of 9. And point cost should be around 50-60. Those are just my thoughts. Any ideas on stats for a boarding craft or additions to this scenario?

I would love to see boarding craft in this game. Escorting them is really not much different than the Senator's shuttle mission in the BRB. That being said, I'm not getting my hopes up for a model from FFG any time soon, would most likely be a tile like the aforementioned shuttle. Maybe a GK dealer will come up with one (fingers crossed).
