I have bought a TIE advanced to augment my two core set TIEs. And Vader and his two wingmates have led me to victory in numerous dogfights with the rebel terrorists. My question is what does the TIE fighter expansion hold? what Pilots and what upgrades? Can anyone help me out?

The main thing you pick up are more unique pilots:
"Backstabber" gets one extra attack dice when attacking from outside the target's firing arc.
"Howlrunner" helps by allowing a friendly ship at range 1 re-roll on attack dice.
"Winged Gundark" keeps your opponents from re-rolling attack dice or using focus to change results
Any upgrade cards are ones you already have.
I'm working from memory here, so if I haven't quoted the cards exactly, please forgive :)

I don't remember the Swarm Tactics upgrade being in the core set (which you get in the Standard tie expansion).
