Our Death Star set up
Published on 29 September 2012 - 22:02:25

Likely will take a while to load - big pics.

Easily built in a day.

Foam core board with detachable clips. Originally for SSB hence the squares. No I will not redo them!

Images are B/W prints outs onto 8 1/2 " x 11" sticker pages.

And one with the green screen replaced with a star field….

That's awesome! I'm doing the same right now with http://skeletonkeygames.rpgnow.com/product/106202/Warscapes%3A-Star-Base-Trench-Run and am thinking about going with 3D tiles later on.

Can you show and/or describe how you support the surface areas? Also do you have a link or a graphic of the exhaust port?

L clips and T Clips connect the foam boards - the whole deal can be disassembled and folded flat.  Exhaust port is a gogle pic.

Very cool!

For a 3D trench board, I'd want to have some pieces of clear plastic to lay across the top of the trench, so ships can be set on top of the plastic when flying above it.

Ive already thought of that… Cutting it into 10" x 2" strips
