Newbie question about dust figs

Hey all,

New to the site and semi-new to dust.  I've been salivating over Dust for about 5 years now and I've finally decided to bite on the tactics and warfare stuff.  I have a question about the minis and booster packs and am sorry if it's been answered before.  I know the core set is unpainted, but are the booster packs unpainted as well?  Also are the minis hard plastic or soft and how do they take to paint?  Thanks in advance for you replies.

The minis are primer gray or green or yellowish (SSU)

They take paint well.

The walkers are a hard plastic…(close to nice quality model) and the figures are med hardness plastic… they may be a little bent at the weapons but nothing a little warm water or hair dryer can't take care of.

Or you could go to Dust-models.com and order painted minis

Thanks for the help, I prefer my figs unpainted so that's great news.
