I thought being a crazy killer nerd was a prerequisite for being a wargamer, lol. Looks like about 30 miles for me using mapquests convuluted driving directions so not much farther than going to games plus. So count me in if you want to do one on wednesday evening, just pick a time.

I'm going to visit a lady friend out in the burbs today. She's taking me to hobby lobby out there, I told her about games plus and we are going to swing by to check it out. If anyone is there i'll be the guy w/ the netherrealm t shirt on.

I'm  just getting started in Dust Tactics. I'm from far west suburbs (Montgomery) and I'm trying to find people that are willing to play. let me know.

A couple of us are from the western suburbs, so it's just a matter of finding a venue to play at, something that seems to be getting increasingly more difficult as hobby shops go out of business, and how far your willing to drive.

Guys there are a couple of us going up to Games Plus on 5/26 at noon for some games. If anyone wants to join shoot me a message and we will look out for you. I really want to get a chicago group built so we can have a regular gaming day.

Hi,

I used to travel to Rockford occasionally to wargame and pop into Royal Hobbies, so wouldn't be adverse to driving out for a game of warfare.

Unless you've already reserved tables at Games Plus on Saturday, I wouldn't count on there being space. There is a 20-man Warmachine/Hordes tourney that day. I'd definitely call ahead if you haven't.

I checked with Games plus and their backroom is fully booked this Saturday. This Sunday as well as next Saturday they will have tables available. Valhalla Battle Games has tables available this Saturday as an alternative if you all want to meet up there instead.

I can do Valhalla.  Same distance for me, and I am always up for checking out a new game store.
