Some are. Some say they are made of resin.

Warlord has some great 28mm WWII terrain for their Blot-Action line.  They are about the right scale and have more coming out, but the Battlefield in a box from GF9 is fantastic for the prices.

I've been looking for a watch tower and found this:

It's  www.deepcutstudio.com/ design, I found it on ebay, it came from Lithuania, cost about £10 plus £2 p&p. 7'' Tall, platform at 5'' so higher than a walker, comftably fits 6 figure squad, not a great deal of detail on it, but looks ok. I will probably build some walls to 5'' hight and watchtowers could easily stick above them.

Another cool thing I found is pegasushobbies.net/catalog/Peg.-Plastic-Model-Kits-E-Z-Snapz-Airplanes/c7_19/p63/%238416-1/48-V-2-Rocket/product_info.html  V2 rocket,

easy to put together don't even require glueing, 1/48 scale fairly cheap. Youtube vid - www.youtube.com/watch , 13'' high

1:35 Buildings work great for Dust, however, they can be expensive. 1:35 works better despite Dust being 1:48 technically, 1:48 Heroic).

If you buy 1:35 building, NEVER buy MiniArt kits, they are cheap, but they are Vacuform meaning the buildings are pretty much paper and IF you can get them together they won't hold up to play. Serious modellers spent hours to get those together and most fill the insides with plaster, not worth the effort. With 1:35 Verlinden's plaster buildings are the way to go. I believe Amera is vacuform too.

The best price for Dust buildings out there is still Operation Cerebus. This took me around 8 sets with plenty of leftovers:

Another good set is the Pegasus Gothic Ruins, but the are more for churches than regular buildings.

Especialy after what you've done with those buildings, realy nice job and I think someday I'll try making something like that, but untill there are no separate cerberus buildings I can't even dream about buying 8 boxes… that would be like £250, too expensive… instead what I will try to make is terrain I could use with warfare as well as tactics and so far think I'll be ok. What I am trying to achive is to have all different types of terrain, like barbed wire, hard cover, soft cover, blocking line of sight, slowing down units etc. so I picked up 6mm thick mdf and 18mm x 95mm x 2.4m plank, cut mdf into squares size of tactics one to make high enough wall, I think I'll cover it in plaster later and make some texture and weathering.

So I welcome ideas on other types of terrain that would be great to have. So far I've got this sort of terrain (just some on the pic, got more)

What is nice about the pieces I used is they fit perfectly on dust tactics board

Still to come, just ordered pegasus hobbies craters

I think I will make barbed wire out of nylon window mesh, just like this guy saskminigamer.blogspot.co.uk/2007/01/36-miles-of-barbed-wire-part-2.html

And some water would be cool, but canno't find suitable bridge, has anyone tried out Pegasus hobbies technobridge?

Also would need more things on higher level, so maybe I'll scratchbuild some kind of fuel tanks with a walkway. And maybe buy a cheapest one tank and smash it to pieces . And I will need some kind of crane, but so far haven't found any, thing is… I wan't to make it as a german V2 facility terrain. I am not painting anything yet, because I want to make winter theme, and will have to change the mat to a darker colour.

Any ideas guys?

Rice, I'm curious as to why you closed off that big building? Doesn't it basically make that whole face worthless? No ledge, no window or anything to break it up at all?

Another interesting thing I found. 4ground scenery, so far they don't have many ww2 products but just look at this piece.

Bought it, cost me about 4 quid. Nicely detailed, and even works. www.4ground.co.uk/Default.aspx

Also tried the idea by New England AT-43! in this post www.fantasyflightgames.com/edge_foros_discusion.asp , hoping he haven't forgot about us and will give us a pic of finished statue. Tamiya 1/48 scale Rommel. size comparison.

Mr dandy at gammawar has some nice walls and tank traps. I picked up some tank traps at Adepticon and they are really nice and cheap too!!
