I'm really digging how the whole Command phase versus Unit phase works.

Yeah, there's another preview here as well which show's off the Ally heavy Joe and Rhino, Axis Heavy, Sigrid and Lara, and a sample of the turn mechanic. I see that both Axis heavies are Armor 7 and 10 health each now.
