Numerous reports of warped / misaligning / mis-cut game boards in the first print run have prompted a welcome quick reply from Christian Petersen to replace your mis-cut boards .

As the instigator of that particular BGG thread, just let me say that this mis-cut issue in no way dampens my enthusiasm for GoT2 or FFG. The company stood up admirably to make thing right. FFG has a solid rep in the industry for excellent customer service and once again has shown they deserve it (although I do miss Thad...)
Here is everything I've learned by going through the process myself.
You need to email: customerservice@fantasyflightgames.com
Requesting a replacement AGOT version 2 board due to miscut / misalignment issues.
With the following information (as required by FFG support);
Name: xxx
Shipping Address: xxx
Phone Number: xxx
Email: xxx
Replacement boards should ship in January maybe - with a followup email from FFG presumably when they do.

Hmm. I know I'm getting AGoT 2nd edition for Christmas but won't know until then whether my board has a warping problem. I hope the offer of replacement boards is still good after Christmas.
Marvel Heroes and Wings of War are other favorites that I own.
So I got my game today, and yes, the game board is warped!
I send the email just 2 minutes ago, I hope everything will go fine :)
"…Suddenly an old man whose tattered yellow clothes
Were of the same color as the rainy heavens,
And whose aspect would have brought him showers of alms
If his eyes had not gleamed with so much wickedness…"
I got this game for xmas. It's great. However, my board was also warped. But only a little bit. Putting some other board games over it to flatten it out overnight seems to have fixed things up. How warped were other people's boards? Is mine likely to bow again once I pull it back out of the box?
I received mine this week and yesterday had my first game with it,such a great game. The misaligned board does mean that we have to have the long sections overlap but its not a massive problem, just difficult placing in the middle sections. I have written to Fantasy Flight to ask for a replacement board but i would say to everyone seeing this thread, do not worry, the game is still brilliant to play and Fantasy Flight have great customer service when it comes to replacing anything faulty or missing. Hopefully the new board comes soon as we only have 4 of our group there yesterday to play and now we have people fighting over the opportunity to play it.
Hi guys, i've received an email reply from Fantasy Flight about this so thought i would share it.
'Sorry about the delay in getting a hold of you. We sadly are undergoing structural change here at the customer service department which has resulted in a slow down of parts replacement and response to general requests.
We would like to inform you that we've received your request for a replacement board for the A Game of Thrones Board Game 2nd Edition.
Fantasy Flight Games wants you to have the best materials possible when you purchase our games, and we sincerely apologize that your copy of A Game of Thrones Board Game 2nd Edition is experiencing any issues, therefore we will gladly send you a new game board at no cost to you.
We have ordered a new batch of replacement boards. We had originally hoped these would arrive in January but due to the methodical steps of making sure all issues are addressed and due to delays in shipping for Chinese New Year, this shipment is expected to arrive around mid-February (approximately February 13th). At this time, we will begin shipping the requested replacement boards. We will follow-up with an email when we begin sending the boards out. '
so i should be getting a new board by end of February.
Hope this helps any of you who haven't heard anything yet or haven't yet acted upon their warped boards
After seeing a couple of reports of the "warped" playing boards I decided to open up my copy that I got for Christmas and see if I needed to contact customer support. I had previously opened the game and separated all the house pieces into separate ziplock bags (for when I did play) and went over the rules. Sadly I haven't had time to play it yet (Heck, I just got to play the LCG with a third person for the first time the other day.)
Anyway, sent out an email to CS. Hopefully I can get a replacement board still. Maybe they will even do something about my damaged punch-out tokens. Which, by the way, wasn't FFG's fault. The entire board game was damaged in one of the corners which caused some damage to each of the punch-out sheets in that corner as well as slight damage to the board itself.
I'm looking forward to my first game though, with or without any replacements.

i emailed them on Friday about my warped board as I just bought the game - still waiting on a response.
I just bought my copy and have the same issue. Sent off an e-mail so hope I'm not too late to get a replacement. Otherwise it's an amazing game.

It took them about a week to get back with me about the mis-cut board and another week for another response on some punch-out replacements. Just be patient and wait, the email will come.
