Decided to add a couple Ludwigs to the FJ.  Here is the first of em.  For the second I'll use Dust Model's 'Sigrid's Nachtjager'.  Sorry bout the white tiles in the pics, wife banned 'junk' from the counters.

Great! how do you arrange for open the hatch!?

@emilio68it  i carefully worked an xacto blade into the seam and it popped right open.  Doesnt work on all the hatches, depends on how much glue they applied at the factory.

Oh now youve done it. That makes my Office Max rolling file case look like an office max rolling file case!!!!!!!! Just kidding cool idea. Did you make the case from scratch or just retrofit? Brilliant looking themed case !!!!!!!!!!! Your opponents are probably defeated mentally before the games even start.

I do have the origonal Sigrid but I know not everyone has access to her.  So here's my stand-in.  It's a model from WestWind Studio's Incursion game with two laser weapons replacing the MP40s.

No, I have one.  She just didnt look 'bezerk' enough for me.  Plus I know there are a lot of people who cant get her so I thought Id do an alternate to help them out.

Awesome work here, love the case too :)

Question: what's your technique (sorry if I missed it I didn't read the entire thread) for the "vertical streaking" wear and weathering on the walker?

Reply #90 | Published on 10 June 2012 - 18:06:24

@minijunkie  i water down Vallejo's german cam black brown and apply with a broad brush.  go lightly, you can always go back and add more.  Getting the h20 to paint ratio is the hardest part.  i have no given ratio, i just play with it till it 'looks right'
