Not sure why I thought this was share worthy, but I'm up too early, and I thought it was neat.

From ESPN:

A maintenance crew came out with ladders but couldn't fix the clock. The shot clock at the opposite end was turned off and two portable units were placed on both baselines. A tape measure was then brought out to check if Howard had pulled the rim lower than its required 10 feet.

I'm not sure if there's any application to AGOT, but right now my mind... is aglow with whirling, transient nodes of thought careening through a cosmic vapor of invention.  It appeals to my sense of symmetry that they put temporary units on both sides.

Um, are you up too early, or still haven't gone to bed yet? And were (are) you still drinking? I'm confused...

Um, you mentioned NBA and rules in the same phrase - kind of an oxymoron- isn't it?
