Mansion of madness on steroids
Published on 28 January 2012 - 03:27:22

I got the game a few weeks ago, after losing a few my players because the set up  took to  long, I decided to streamline the game, and then I went crazy with the boxes that  it came in. Please  enjoy love your comments and feed back .

Losing friends because of setup time? What?

I always set up everything before they come so when they do, everything is ready to go. Haven't lost anyone yet.

I live in a community, where most of the people are not gamers, I have everything set up now prior to them showing up I'm still refining things to make it easier and easier to play the game and set it up really quickly played last night and somehow some cards got lost in some shuffling around,I don't like the cards being on the board and covering up all the nice artwork.

Would love to hear any ideas other gamers have had on streamlining the game.

I use a visit card folder with the names of all rooms to hold the exploration/lock/obstacle cards during the game. The set does not take longer and there are no more cards on the board, just few tokens to indicate where are the rooms that were not explored.

You realize, of course, that you're quite mad? :)
