Another bunch of miniatures I forgot to post on here at the time I painted them (a couple of months ago I think) These were double speedpainted as a game was in hand...a couple of afternoons to be exact, think I may have been possessed by the great Cthulu himself! Brilliant game, really looking forward to the major expansion, have all th PoD expansions and intend to make some of my own stories up sometime....time permitting!

Very very nice. I salute you sir! (as a miniature painter myself). The eyes on the monster are very impressive!

hehe yeah Sister Mary? I didnt even realise she was missing until we whipped it out for a game about 4 weeks later! Eventually found her under the couch, guess it all proved too much for her!

Sigh.  I used to look at my miniatures for MoM and think they were awesome.  Now I'm going to think that they'd look so much better painted!

Very impressive paintwork! I may try out the colour-schemes for myself when and if I try my hand at painting them.

 I'm looking to paint mine!

Could you share some of your technique and advice?

Were of the same color as the rainy heavens,
And whose aspect would have brought him showers of alms
If his eyes had not gleamed with so much wickedness…"

Very nice job.   Gives me some motivation to paint mine.  Which I could order an extra set of monsters just in case I screw up.

Base coat with black spray primer for plastic. Use citadel paints. They cost about $4 a piece and you need around 10 different colors. A nice brush set with smal flats and rounds can be picked up for around 10 buck at michaels or other hobby store

Seeing painted mintures always make me want to learn to paint. Not sure how I'd ever find the time, though :)

How did you get the white shading on the Chothians? Was that primed black, base purple and then white highlighting or was it white base then purple highlighting?
