Deathwatch Collector order problem

Back in late july, I finally decided to order a DW Collector. About two days after I made the order, FFG sent me an Email regarding a possible typo in my apocryphon oath. I corrected the error by sending then an Email. Everything looked fine by that time. Four weeks passed with me anxiously waiting for any news, but nothing came up. So I gave FFG a phone call (and believe me, my poor english speaking ability and the fact that calling someone from Quebec, Canada to California by phone is a pain made it a bit hard, no offence to FFG of course) and was explained that (at that time) FFG had hit a record sale so it might have compromised some orders and said that my Collector was still in the calligraph's hands (but, with the bad phone communication and my english speaking, I might have missed something). He told me he would send this calligraph an Email with my adress so he could contact me, but he actually never did. I never recieved any other info since.

I sent an Email to FFG customer's support but I never had any answer. I find this situation a bit... unpleasant.

If anyone know a bit more about the process, I would like some details (or solution if all of this is 'unusual')

Best regards,

Lord-Captain Darius

Please do not complain about my poor english writing. Understand that im not born in an english country.

Thanks

I have a similar issue, I ordered mine in august and have yet to hear anything from FFG and it still says "Pending Shipping, and despite multiple emails I have yet to get a response and every time I call to get Customer Service I get 'voicemail full".

Same problem with my order. And contacting via phone from the Ukraine would cost me a small fortune, so I just try to be patient..

I ordered mine on April 7th of 2011 and got a message in june that said it was at the calligraphers. I asked some of the higher up people at Gencon this year about tracking down the problem. They said they would but I still have not heard anything. Its now been 6 months and i am thinking about calling my card company and filing a fraud charge. I really like FFG's products and hate that i have to resort to these measures but they refuse to answer in emails or call me back when i leave messages.

I think the better buisness bureau may also get a call.

lets get this issue SOLVED or refund my money!

Well, I finally got mine today, and was super excited, but then I found that the spine of the book was completely destroyed, the front cover and couple pages had completely separated from the rest of the book.

Not enthused about this.

So, how long did it take to deliver the book to you?

Same happened to me when I got my book.  I contacted them and they said to send pictures and they sent me a new one without delay.  Try that when you e-mail them again.

4 months to get the book to Canada??? OMG, I don't want even to think about delivery time to my poor-little-country Ukraine...  Guess I still need to be patient after all... Even after the USPS notified me that their "Priority mail" would take up to 7 weeks to arrive...

A bit over 2 months.

I haven't received any reply to any of my emails sent about the spine of the book being completely broken and torn. In fact, I haven't gotten a reply to any email or voicemail left nor have I been able to get ahold of anyone at FFG.

If I don't hear anything this week I'm going to open up a dispute with my credit card to get my money back. This was a cool product, but when it takes months to arrive and the book is trashed when it finally does arrive, that's unacceptable.

I finally got mine and the quality issues seem to have been fixed. My copy is in nice condition (i even tried to pull the pages out...not too hard) and everything seems intact.
