What does this mean for Blood Bowl: Team Manager ?

A game with the same engine ?

Blood Bowl canceled ?

Something official would be nice ...

Doubt it's the same engine just because it's the same designer.   From the sounds of it RuneAge seems to share more in common with the Warhammer LCG in terms of having your home base and all that. 

Plus the scenario thing doesn't seem to fit in with Blood Bowl, which should be a game about coaches competing against - not with - other coaches.

But to echo you - yeah less other card games and get on with the Blood Bowl news.

Actually, BB:TM is co-designed by Eric Lang and Corey K. But, yeah, I'm slightly concerned about the announcement of Rune Age without any updates on BB. I want to play both games, but I want to play BB more.

I also don't expect both of these games to work the same. Adventuring in Rune Age should be different than playing the BB games, I would think.

Since this was announced, I have noticed both the Runeage and Lotro card games being announced. The LOTRO one is about to be released.
