"roll 'X' dice for each targeted miniature"

"A miniature represents a single vehicle, soldier, or hero"

Yeah, I think that makes it clear. Roll one dice per soldier, not per squad. The fact that 3 soldiers are on the same base doesn't affect those rules.

Ok.  So, say the squad has had 2 of it's health knocked off, no models are removed, so how many dice would the 1/+ now roll?  Seems a bit much to roll 3 dice.

Well, we just have to accept that these squads operate like vehicles. So they're at full strength until the moment they go POOF.

Actually, they have ruled that they are only one model for x/+ weapons, but once they have taken two wounds you may only fire one of the ranged weapons.  (Either the twin MG or the anti-tank weapon, not both.)

They can take some damage without getting weaker, only count as one model if targeted by flamers and may join a hero?! Where do I get these guys?

Dear FFG, please don't stop the Tannhäuser line completely! Maybe just step down the release of new product to two (maybe one) characters per year just to keep players interested. Maybe release mercenary characters that would be useful for every faction thus every player. Maybe release a pack containing all the existing bonus tokens but no miniature. Anything, please!

Except Hades says nothing about how they handle incendiary blast attacks, which is where most of the confusion seems to be.

Hades even describes them as "three soldiers"

To be fair, the rule for incendiary blast references the number of "miniatures," so idk.

Today I tried for the first time Chef with the Crack Shots. Good lord, what an effective unit. You need to use it carefully, preferrably inside a building, and trying to keep it out of harm's way as much as possible, since they only have 5 health. But when they get to do their thing, good lord, the flames, the horror! Chef attacked Sigrid with the Laser Grenadiers, and with his 12 flamer dice hitting on blanks with no cover he easily wiped the whole squad with a single non-sustained attack. It was gruesome. And then you still have the afterthought of having the sniper and rifle attack some other target. For 32 AP, this combo can easily make its cost back and then some.

This weekend I did evil things to Bazooka Joe and the Hell boys with Sigrid and the sniper grenadiers.  Used berserk.  Got one hit from the sniper (goodbye flamethrower), one from the spotter, and EIGHT from Sigrid!  Berserk+spotter = 3 initial hits.  Laser+spotter = 2+2+1.  Anyone else think that's a little broken?
