Hi,
15 years back I used to play Magic a lot, but since then I been focusing on board games. It came to me, when I read about LCG, that this is what I'm looking for! So now I'm here for some help from you guys. Which LCG should I go for? This is what I'm looking for:

Deck building:
I'm really into deck building, but I don't like to build my own deck at home and then try to find someone to play with. No, I would rather like to have a big pile of cards that could be randomized into a drafting session upfront playing. Or that every player selects their cards just prior to the game (from the same pile). I would like it to be more of a board game (where I can bring all the components to the table) rather then everyone bringing their own stuff.

Interaction:
NO cooperative game! The more intrigue the better. Also, their have to be more then just creature that fights. I need spells and abilities as well that can tweak the rules.

Play time:
Preferably fast game rounds. ~15-20 min. And then you can play best of three.

4 player:
Preferably it should take 4p.

What do you think? Is there a game for around for me?
 

Well there are optional rules to play Call of Cthulhu 4 players and it allows the kind of deck building you want in that most people choose to combine two factions to make a deck.  With just the core set you actually have to combine 2 of the seven factions to make a deck, so you can make it a draft where players take turns picking a faction.  However I'm not sure if it's the best LCG for your description, but I think you would enjoy it.

 The A Game of Thrones LCG fits your description perfectly. You can play it with up to 4 players its has alot of intrigue and backstabbing and you can kind of build your own decks with just the core set, though you would need some of the expansions to have more choices.

Only problem would be the time, because you will barely have rounds that take less than 45 minutes with 2 players and 1 1/2 hours with more than 2 players. You could change the rules a bit, for example that you need less power tokens to win, that would make the game faster.

It doesnt have spells and creatures like orcs, elves or goblins(it has some dragons and wolfs). If you know the books or the show you know what I mean, if you dont know it, better check it out its awsome ;-).

You could look up some videos on youtube to get a better look and see how the game works.

I just love the game and would recommend it to anyone who asks for a fun game^^.

After I read some more I bet my money on a Warhammer Invasion core set. I think it will suit most of my needs.

I just got the core set as well (and the Assault deluxe expansion).  The W:I forums are dead, huh?
