Trivial Knowledge and it's use in combat

Can the Support Action "Trivial Knowledge" be used in combat? This came up in our last game. For instance, could you use it by saying something like, "Those Zombies are really slow so keep bouncing all over the place when you fight", or say "That guy is using a specific fighting style which is countered by doing quick short thrusts with your sword"?

Thank you in advance for any responses.

Nope, never ever ever.  You should learn to trust your DM.

Haha, the DM in question makes an appearance I guess?

I honestly don't see why not. I think the card is just awesome to use in combat; it's fun and it creates opportunities for non-combat PCs to contribute.

Yes, in my group it's used in combat much like you describe. But the player using it must supply some kind of trivial knowledge that "helps" in the situation, not just say "I use trivial knowledge". Just like your examples.
